We offer an opportunity to make unique journey on the one of the most difficult rivers of Russia – the Argut river. Rafting on the Argut is characterized by the highest – VI grade of difficulty and it includes a lot of the most difficult obstacles – the Nadolby, the Truba Sapozhnikova, the Sapozhnikov waterfall, the Iedygemskiy, the Bely, the Razdelny, the Atlanty rapids. Rafting is performed by the safest boats ‘bublik’ in the company of skilled instructors. This Itinerary will give you the most powerful adrenaline buzz. But the Argut is attractive not just because its difficulty but also because of its beauty, snowy peaks, deep canyons, picturesque banks and also lovely fishing. After the tour you will have unforgettable impressions. It's worth noting that Argut is one of that few places in the Altai, where snow leopard survived. In the Argut valley one can meet a lot of mountain goats, deers etc.

| The 1st day | Meeting at the airport or at the railroad station. Transportation by bus Barnaul – Aktash, distance 600 km, trip takes about 10 hours. The road goes through the famous Chuysky Highway, one can admire a glorious landscapes of the Altai mountains, the most beautiful valleys of the Bia and Chuya. The route goes through two picturesque Seminsky and Chike-Taman passes. Several breaks for lunch and in Srostki village, homeland of V. Shukshin, are provided. Camping on the banks of the Chuya river. Overnight at tourist camps is optional. |
| The 2nd day | An early Transportation by off-road truck Ural. Transportation Aktash – Kosh-Agach – Jazator – the mouth of the Karagem river. The road goes through the Chuyskaya steppe with marvelous views of snowy mountains of North-Chuyskiy and South-Chuyskiy Ranges which will leave deep impression. Camping. |
| The 3d day | Preparing for the rafting. Excursion to the powerful rapids of Karagem. Safety education. |
| The 4th day | The start of the rafting. On this reach of the river team will learn a technology of raft control and will be ready for the serious obstacles of the Argut – Nadolby and Truba Sapozhnikova rapids. |
| The 5th day | Reconnaissance of the most difficult rapid of the itinerary - the Sapozhnikov waterfall in the morning – unforgettable experience. Passing of this rapid and further cascade of difficult rapids Sedaya riffle and Iedygemskiy. This rapids need careful attention and high skills of the team. Then the river is getting calmer for a while and you enter beautiful canyon where you will face one more obstacle – the Ary-Yulskiy rapid. |

| The 8th day | The Shavla river – the Mouth of the Chuya river We are going to overcome the last reach of the Argut so called Bystry Argut with a beautiful rapid the Atlanty. Visit of the Museum of water activities at the mouth of the Argut where you can make a hand-made exhibit item and add it to the collection. Next 3-4 hours down the calm reach of the Katun river. |

Personal equipment
Each participant should have sports bag, shoes and wetsuit for the rafting, windproof suit, jogging suit, raincoat, a couple of T-shirts, thermal underwear, sweater, jogging shoes, three - four pairs of socks, caps, sunglasses, swimsuit, shorts or tights, personal hygiene items, cameras, torch, specific medications, etc.
Notes
- It is an expeditionary journey, participants stay at a different campsite each night.
- Professional Cooking is provided. Only fresh vegetables are used.
- Raft, equipment, camping (fire pits, tents, tables) are provided by guides.
- Reconnaissance of rapids, providing of insurance and safety, rescue operation are performed by guides
- One can lease necessary additional equipment – wetsuit, shoes for rafting.
- Satellite-link communication and radio set are provided
- During the trip carrying of load and equipment down the river bank is available, depending on weather conditions and skills of group
- The schedule of the tour can be changed in accordance with group requests
- Transportation by helicopter is optional
