This is not just a tourist tour – that is a real expedition. The tour takes place in Tuva and includes rafting on the Ka-Hem river – one of the Enisey tributaries. In the upstream the river is called Balyktyg-Hem that means “fishy river” in Tuvinian. The lack of populated localities and any civilization, beautiful pristine nature of Sayan, excellent fishing, powerful interesting rapids will present you unforgettable memories.
For fans of fishing: there are lenoks – Siberian trout, taimen - Siberian salmon, grayling. This tour suits for fans of underwater fishing.
TOUR DESCRIPITION:
| The 1st day | Meeting at the airport of Abakan. Transportation by bus Abakan – Kysyl – the capital of Tyva. Distance is 480 km, trip takes about 7 hours. The road goes beside famous natural boundaries Ergaki. In Kyzyl group changes to off road car Ural and goes to Erzin village. Dinner. Camping. Helicopter to this place is optional. |
| The 2nd day | Transportation to the Balyktyg – Hem river. Visit of hydro sulfuric sources. The roads goes through several passes, its height is more than 3000 m. Overnight on the bank of the river. Preparation for rafting. |
| The 3d day | Safety education. Start of rafting. This day we are going through a calm part of the river to the mouth of the Saryg-Er river. Time of rafting is about 3 hours. During the rafting you will learn how to control the raft and will be prepared for obstacles of the Ka-Hema. During the rafting you can enjoy excellent fishing. |
| The 4th day | Rafting on the Ka-Hem river. This day we are going to overcome cascade of rapids Lestnitsa. The rapids of Lestnitsa are pretty simple. Then we are going through “The ring of Ka-Hem” – one of the most beautiful parts of the river. The river flows through picturesque ravine, there are no difficult rapids. Overnight in camp before Milzeyskiy cascade. |
| The 5th day | Today we are going to overcome Milzeyskiy cascade, rapids of 3-4 class. Cascade consists of spectacular rapids, which gradually change each other. Some of the rapids need detailed survey. In the evening one can fish in the picturesque place, in the mouth of Milzey. |
| The 6th day | Rafting in the Ka-Hem river to the mouth of the Ayon river. The land of Old believers begins here. This day rafting goes through a calm part of the river. Fishing. |
| The 7th day | Passing beside village of Old Believers where one can buy products. Passing canyon Sheka, the rapid is situated in a narrow ravine with a high walls at banks that makes it more spectacular and beautiful. At the exit from canyon there is confluence of the Ka-Hem and Kyzyl-Hem rivers. After it the Ka-Hem becomes much more full-flowing – this is almost a half of Enisey. Overnight in birch wood near the village of Old Believers. |
| The 8th day | Rest day. Excursion to Old Believers they are welcoming and friendly. Banya in the evening |
| The 9th day | Then passing the rapid Vasilyevskiy. This day we are overcoming big village of Old Believers Uzhep. There is the most serious obstacle of the lower Ka-Hem – the rapid Baibalskiy in 7 km after Uzhep . Overnight before the rapid. |
| The 10th day | Passing the rapid. The rapid is very spectacular it seems that the river falls like a waterfall when you come closer. One can choose different ways – from the most safe to the most extreme. Rafting on the Ka-Hem river to the Belbey village. |
| The 11th day | Transfer to Abakan by microbus. Accommodation in hotel. Lunch in Kysyl city, visit of memorial “Cent Asii” (Center of Asia) |
| The 12th day | Departure from Abakan. |

Personal equipment
Each participant should have sports bag, shoes and wetsuit for the rafting, windproof suit, jogging suit, raincoat, a couple of T-shirts, thermal underwear, sweater, jogging shoes, three - four pairs of socks, caps, sunglasses, swimsuit, shorts or tights, personal hygiene items, cameras, torch, specific medications, etc.

- It is an expeditionary journey, participants stay at a different campsite each night.
- Professional Cooking is provided. Only fresh vegetables are used.
- Raft, equipment, camping (fire pits, tents, tables) are provided by guides.
- Reconnaissance of rapids, providing of insurance and safety, rescue operation are performed by guides
- one can lease necessary additional equipment – wetsuit, shoes for rafting.

- During the trip carrying of load and equipment down the river bank is available, depending on weather conditions and skills of group
- The schedule of the tour can be changed in accordance with group requests before the beginning of the tour
